Dali by Comdez to Present a 5-Day Art Exhibition at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi | July 12–16, 2025

In a world that rushes forward at lightning speed, Past Forward invites us to linger.

After an exclusive preview at The Imperial Hotel earlier this month, Dali by Comdez now opens the doors of its much-anticipated exhibition to the public. From July 12–16, 2025, the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi will transform into a sanctuary of memory, imagination, and artistic dialogue—with over 50 original artworks on view.

But Past Forward isn’t just another art exhibition. It is a meditation on what stays with us when everything else changes. From canvases to cloth, sculptures to stories, the works in this show ask: In the race of time, what remains timeless?

A Journey Through Art and Memory

At the heart of the exhibition lies a compelling blend of modern and contemporary Indian art, brought to life by both renowned masters and emerging voices. These are pieces that don’t just speak—they echo. With strokes of nostalgia and bursts of reinvention, each artwork reflects the delicate dance between personal memory and public history.

One of the most talked-about elements is a limited-edition pashmina stole featuring artwork by T.K. Manoj Kumar, a retired IAS officer whose practice weaves together form and feeling. Inspired by the aroma, chaos, and beauty of Purani Dilli’s Paranthe Wali Gali, the stole became a symbol at the exhibition’s preview—a wearable memory, soft and striking.

“Time is moving faster than ever—but art remains timeless,” says Vishal Goyal, Principal Designer of Dali by Comdez. “Past Forward is our attempt to pause and reflect—through canvas, fabric, and presence.”

From Private Preview to Public Pulse

The preview evening at The Imperial was not just an event—it was a convergence. Dignitaries, artists, editors, business leaders, and diplomats gathered to witness the beginning of Past Forward. The guest list reflected the breadth of influence that art can reach—from Rajasekhar Chinthapally (Ambassador, Govt. of India) and Manish Ahuja (FICCI), to Deepak Dwivedi (Blitz India), Ajoy Ashirwad Mahaprashasta (The Wire), and Mayank Jain (EZHOMZ).

This spirit of cross-disciplinary conversation is central to Dali by Comdez.

About Dali by Comdez

Tucked away in Noida, Dali by Comdez is not your typical gallery. It is an invitation-only space where design, art, and cultural storytelling collide. Whether through immersive exhibitions, limited-edition objects, or artist-led collaborations, Dali nurtures work that is bold, thoughtful, and enduring.

Their mission? To collect and promote art that matters—across disciplines, platforms, and people.

Dali engages with contemporary and modern Indian art in ways that blur the boundaries between disciplines: art meets fashion, story meets structure, and objects become memory. In a world of noise, Dali curates stillness.

You’re Invited

The public exhibition of Past Forward will be held at the Visual Arts Gallery, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi, from July 12–16, 2025.

This is not just an exhibition. It’s a reminder. That art outlives moments. That memory has colour, texture, and depth. That time bends, but stories endure.

Come. See. Feel. Remember.
